there is an up and downside about me getting more girlfriends. female friends. this time last year i had two good girlfriends, now i have about 10. i love shopping trips, learning things from intelligent women, cuddling while watching movies, baking, talking, gossipping, hangin around in sweats, getting dressed up for lord knows what, sharing clothes, doing hair and nails and makeup, more shopping trips, being gross, going on dates, this is starting to get cheesy, awkward fitting room chats, crafts, and all that cool shit...
but then there are "those girls". like, come on:
1. if someone deserves praise, or credit, let them have it. if she looks cuter in the dress, stop hating and tell her.
2. stop trying to one up everyone, everytime, this rule goes with #1.
3. when your female friends scould (sp?) you for that underwear shot, it's time to take it down. regardless of how many creeps commented on it.
4. be less judgemental please. women are harder on women than men are, fueling the fire of oppression and poor self esteem.
5. kiss and tell can only be so graphic, please. really.
6. if it feels more like a competition than a friendship, it's time to bail.
7. calling each other bitches and whores etc is not cute. leave that to the guidettes or whatever.
